We want your transition to HomeTrust Bank to be smooth and seamless. Below are answers to our most frequently asked questions.

Online Banking

How will I access my Online Banking profile?

Image of the HomeTrust Bank websiteIf you had an Online Banking Profile at TriSummit Bank, you do not need to re-enroll for Online Banking at HomeTrust Bank.

Use the Online Banking Login box in the top right corner of the page.

Did my Online Banking Username change?

Most Usernames for Online Banking remained the same. However, if your Username was changed, please contact our Customer Care Center at 800.627.1632.

Did my Online Banking password change?

Yes, your password will be the same as your Username for your first login.

You will set a new password when you login the first time. After you set your new password, set up your Challenge Questions, verify your phone number, and accept the Online Terms & Conditions, you’re ready for Online Banking!

Statements & eStatements

Will I still receive my eStatements?

You will need to re-enroll for eStatements through Online Banking. Once logged in, click on any of your accounts, then “Online statements” and follow the on-screen instructions.

When will I receive my monthly statements?

A final statement was produced from TriSummit Bank on March 10. You can expect to receive your regular monthly statement from HomeTrust starting in March.

What if I need a previous month or previous year statement after the March 10 conversion date?

Past eStatements did not transfer to the HomeTrust Bank system and are not available after the conversion. If you received paper statements and need to request a copy, please contact customer service at 800.627.1632 or stop by one of our offices for more information.

Mobile Banking

Does HomeTrust have an app?

Yes! The HomeTrust Mobile Banking App is available for iPhone, iPad and Android devices.

The first time you log in to your online banking profile, you will need to log in from a browser on either your PC or mobile device. Then you are all set to download and use the HomeTrust App. Visit our Mobile Banking page to learn more about our App.

When can I enroll in HomeTrust Mobile Banking?

Beginning March 13 at 9:00 a.m., log in to your Online Banking profile from a browser on either a PC or mobile device. Once you see your account(s), you can log onto our Mobile Banking App.

Does HomeTrust offer Mobile Deposit?

Yes! After you download the Mobile App, look for the Deposit tab and tap Deposit Check. Snap photos of your checks and deposit them from your mobile device. Learn more on our Mobile Deposit page.

Does HomeTrust offer Mobile Payments?

Yes! Your new HomeTrust Bank debit card can be added to Apple Pay, Android Pay, and Samsung Pay. Learn more about mobile payments here.

Bill Pay

Did my online banking bill payment payees automatically carry over, or will I have to re-enter them in my new HomeTrust Bank online banking?

Your bill payment payees carried over.

What if I had automatic payments set up with my TriSummit Bank debit card? Do I have to do anything?

Yes, any auto-payments that have been set up on your TriSummit Bank debit card will need to be reestablished for your HomeTrust Bank debit card.

What if I had online bill payments scheduled to pay during the conversion weekend?

Scheduled bill payments were paid on the next business day, which was Monday, March 13.

Account Questions

Did my deposit account numbers change?

Most account numbers did not change. However, if your account number was subject to change, we will continue to work with you to ensure a smooth transition.

Do I have to order new checks for my checking account?

No, you may continue to use your TriSummit Bank checks until your next order.

Will I receive a new debit card?

Yes. If you had a TriSummit Bank Debit Card, this card was replaced by a HomeTrust Bank Debit Card. You should have received your new card(s) in the mail the week prior to the March 10–12 conversion weekend.

What if I’ve not received my new HomeTrust Bank debit card in the mail by March 13?

Stop by your local HomeTrust office on or after March 13 and we will provide a new temporary card for you to use until your permanent card is received.

When can I use my new HomeTrust Bank Debit Card?

Begin using your HomeTrust bank Debit Card on Friday, March 10 at 3:00 p.m. Your TriSummit Bank Debit card(s) will not work for your account(s) being transferred to HomeTrust Bank after 4:00 p.m., March 10, 2017.

Will I be able to make deposits to my account at other HomeTrust locations?

Yes, effective March 13, when your account moved to HomeTrust Bank, you have access to your accounts and services at all HomeTrust branches. You will find locations throughout Western and Central North Carolina, Greenville South Carolina, Upper East Tennessee, and Virginia’s Roanoke Valley, listed here.
