The Polk County Film Initiative (PCFI) is expanding its theme of bringing film production to Polk County by hosting the 2017 Tryon International Film Festival. The festival organizers are expecting an array of independent titles which will premier over a three-day period at multiple venues in and around Tryon.

This is an opportunity to purchase truly unique gifts from local merchants. This three-day shopping extravaganza will bring in more than 80 vendors to the Legrand Center in Shelby.

Morristown’s cultural arts center will be celebrating 42 years of family fun with the annual Mountain Makins Festival. Celebrate the very best of Appalachian culture, from crafts to music. The festival is a delightful combination of crafts, food, music, dancing and fun.
